Breaking News: Talius Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Ontario

READ

Last week Talius opened a new manufacturing plant in Windsor, Ontario for our Habitat Screens. This is big news as it allows for manufacturing, and easier distribution of Talius Habitat Screens, along the east coast of Canada. Talius has partnered with Brooke and Jason Watorek longtime Talius dealers in this new endeavor, they are very experienced with Talius products and are a great asset for Talius’ Eastern Canadian clients.

In fact, the Windsor branch features a large factory boasting some 6,000 square feet of space, and currently employing 10 full-time staff members with a further 10 expected to be added over the course of the first year.

Talius has been doing business in Canada, the US, and the Caribbean for 30 years, and has grown quite a formidable supply chain. However, the shipping over to the eastern side of Canada is time-consuming and costly. With this new operation in Ontario, these problems are negated, and consumers will enjoy a quick and cost-effective means of receiving their Habitat Screens.

Watorek is optimistic that expansion into the US is there, but firsts wants to properly serve their Canadian clients. There is a definite economic boom occurring in Windsor, and sales have been great so far, Watorek reported.

On hand for the grand opening was Kelly Cahill, President and CEO of Talius, Jason and Brooke Watorek, new owners of the Windsor based Talius, members of the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation, employees of the new facility, and the general public.

Mayor Drew Dilkins tweeted his welcome to us:

We look forward to having an amazing relationship with our partners in Windsor.
